What happens during a Sound Bath?

Sound Vibrations can be a powerful tool to support wellbeing. Many say that the sessions help to reduce their stress & anxiety, induce relaxation, improve sleep, support emotional healing & even assist to improve focus.

Most people choose to lie on the ground, on a yoga mat, or something similar but if you prefer to remain seated that’s equally fine – whatever is most comfortable for you! I will then lead you through a few simple breathing sequences followed by a short, guided meditation. I will play various instruments with different sound frequencies such as crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls and chimes interspersed with periods of silence. Sessions are often relaxing, but sometimes thoughts or emotions arise that can be challenging however treating these with curiosity and trusting that you will experience what is right for you at that time is an important element.
